Czasownik ‘BYĆ’

Where was he yesterday? – Gdzie on był wczoraj?

I was not = I wasn’t – ja nie byłem

you were not = you weren’t – ty nie byłeś

she was not = she wasn’t – ona nie była

he was not = he wasn’t – on nie był

it was not = it wasn’t – to nie było

we were not = we weren’t – my nie byliśmy

you were not = you weren’t – wy nie byliście

they were not = they weren’t – oni, one nie były

Czasownik ‘MIEĆ’ ‘have got’ w czasie

PAST SIMPLE

nie dodajemy słówka got!

Zachowuje się on jak ‘pozostałe czasowniki’.

Czas przeszły od HAVE to HAD (patrz tabelka czasowników nieregularnych).

I had a bad day.

She had a grey cat.

They had two daughters.

Aby stworzyć pytanie potrzebny jest nam operator DID oraz BEZOKOLICZNIK (tak jak w przypadku ‘pozostałych czasowników’)

Did you have a good time at the party? – Czy dobrze bawiłeś się na przyjęciu?

How many guests did you have you yesterday? – Ilu gości miałeś wczoraj?

Przeczenia tworzymy za pomocą słówka DIDN’T (=DID NOT) oraz bezokolicznika (taka sama zasada jak w przypadku ‘pozostałych czasowników’)

She didn’t have a cat.

We didn’t have money.
